This is the workout answer for those who have hard cycles of training and want to maintain results but it is also for those seeking to recover after rigorous Special Ops type training programs.
This eight week program is loaded with challenging weight training, high to moderate rep PT, moderate running and swimming, and a solid ab / lowerback program.
The goal of this program is to help those recover from challenging and physically deteriorating schools like Army Ranger where people typically lose 20 lbs of muscle due to long days of work and not much food or sleep. Post BUD/S students and myself have utilized this program to recover from challening blocks of training and this helps to remain strong, stay cardiovascularly fit, and build muscle, burn fat.
Over the past three years I have used this program with a variety of SWAT, fire fighters, pre and post Spec Ops training and others including myself. The results were a better maintained body, healthier feeling, and recovered from previous months of over-exerting training.
This works well as either a recovery plan or maintenance plan for those advanced athletes or tactical athletes looking for a challenging workout with steady progressions.
It still starts out tough so this is not for beginners or advanced athletes who have been idle for months.
